The Need & Importance of Allah’s Mercy
“Your Lord has prescribed mercy for Himself. So that if any of you does evil in ignorance, and thereafter repents and does righteous good deeds (by obeying Allah), then surely, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful” (Quran, Al-Anaam, 6:54)
“And your Lord is Rich (Free of all needs), full of mercy” (Quran, Al Anaam, 6:133)
Islam you deserve to know
Allah is full of love and kindness to His creation
All blessings and goodness in this world and the next are clear proofs of Allah's Mercy
Let us first remind ourselves of the high status that Prophet Muhammad holds before Allah
Allah Is Extremely Merciful
Allah wants us to seek forgiveness and come towards Him
Allah’s Mercy is Boundless
We should be a thankful servant towards Allah of what Allah had done for us in this world
Allah has repeatedly reminded us in the Quran about His mercy. He says in the Quran:
“To whom belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth?” Say: “To Allah. He has prescribed mercy for Himself” (Quran Al-Anaam, 6:12)
Therefore, we are constantly striving to perform deeds that are deserving of Allah’s mercy
We should also be steadfast and sincere in asking for Allah’s mercy in our Supplications and Duas
Allah’s Mercy embraces all things
True Believer who receive more of Allah’s Mercy are those who have acknowledged His blessings and favours who used them in a way which pleases Allah
Obey Allah and the Messenger that you may obtain mercy
Keep up prayer and pay the compulsory charity to the needy and obey the Messenger, so that mercy may be shown to you
Allah’s attribute of Mercy is His attribute of Justice
“O Allah, it is Your mercy that I am seeking”
