Remembrance of Allah is a firm knowledge of one’s belief, protection
from falseness, a fortress against Satan, and a guarded refuge from the Hell-Fire.
The importance of bringing Zikir into our life, using a logical and mathematic model, whilst proving the conclusions from the Quran.
Taking a close look at the relationship between the five pillars of Islam. Hence the value 50 will be used to determine the lifetime obligation value.
Table 1 below lists the pillars of Islam each with their respective lifetime obligation value. The Kalimah to represent Zikir.

Table 1
The value for the
Kalimah is not yet known. Figure 1.1, below, is a graphical representation of
the table above. The log graph shows the lifetime obligation values on the
vertical Y axis against the five pillars respectively on the horizontal X axis.
There is a trend
in the graph which suggests a proportional increase in obligation moving from
one pillar to the next. If complete the graph, proportionally, to include the
value for the Kalimah would have a graph similar to Fig 1.2.
The lifetime obligation value
for the Kalimah, which can define from the graph, is approximately TEN MILLION!
This value is 100 times larger than the value for Salat, which is roughly
100,000. The following Quranic ayat then makes perfect sense! Allah said in the
Quran:
“The remembrance
of Allah is the greatest” (Quran Al-Ankabut, 29:45)
Zikir of Allah is
to be done over 100 times more often than we offer our prayers. Sound
ridiculous? Allah said in the Holy Quran:
“When you have finished
the Prayers, do the Zikir of Allah, standing, sitting & lying down on your
sides” (Quran Al-Nisa, 4:103)
You engage in the
Zikir of Allah constantly in between your Salats. Thus it is not
surprising that the value for the Kalimah, which is a form of Zikir, would far
exceed that for Salat.
When starting to practice Zikir, you should have one’s thoughts
directed and determined to achieve a desired goal. Zikir is only has one true
purpose but there are eight paths which lead one to reach the ultimate goal.
1) Love: For
Allah & His Prophets & Angels
2) Knowledge:
Inner & Outer
3) Peace &
Tranquility
4) Purity: Inner
& Outer
5) Blessings
& Reward
6) Forgiveness
& Pardon
7) Success: In this
life & the next
